Welcome to our community at NBSS. We look forward to seeing you in September, and are excited to get started on your training.
Our New Student Welcome page provides a full overview of what you need to take care of before you start at NBSS, including everything from attending a virtual orientation to purchasing MBTA passes.
Information about purchasing starter tool kits will come later this summer; expect to pay about $750 for your Cabinet & Furniture Making starter tool kit. We will be reviewing a full tool list during the first few days of class, so we recommend not purchasing any tools beyond the starter tool kit before your program begins. Those who already own hand tools may bring them in on the first full day of class (Wednesday) so that we can review them with you, or you can wait until we’ve reviewed the tool list.
