Hello friend,
Congratulations on your decision to attend North Bennet Street School. We’re getting ready for your arrival and excited to welcome you to our community.
I hope you’re getting ready also—thinking about when you need to wake up in order to be on time to class, and the best way to get here in the morning. You’ll want to be here on time to get the most from your days with our highly skilled and dedicated instructors. In every program we emphasize exceptional quality, and so I hope you’ll take full advantage of the opportunity to learn how to attain that here.
You've received some information from us already, and I want to remind you that our New Student Welcome page provides a full overview of what's needed before you start at NBSS. This includes everything from required forms and attendance policies, to accommodations requests and purchasing tool kits. You are required to read the Student Handbook so you know what's expected of you and everyone in the building. If you have any questions about these details, please contact me at provost@nbss.edu.
During your time at NBSS, we’ll communicate with you in a variety of ways, including emails and occasional texts, especially for weather-related cancellations or delays. You’re responsible for reading and understanding communications sent to you by NBSS. If your contact information changes (including email, mailing address, or cell phone number), please share your new information with us so you do not miss important notifications.
Today, you’re looking forward to your training and have your whole program in front of you. There’s a lot to do and much to learn from your instructors. I hope you’ll make the most of your time at NBSS—learning, growing, gaining skills, practicing those skills, and meeting new people. Much too soon, you’ll be looking back on your education. I hope when that moment comes, you’ll feel satisfied knowing that you gave it everything you had, and got everything you could from your time here. It may be one of the most transformative experiences of your life if you do.
For now, welcome to our NBSS community. On behalf of everyone here at the School, we look forward to seeing what you’ll achieve while you’re with us.
