Hello friend,
The Department of Education announced on January 30 that institutions of higher education will not receive the data needed to make financial aid awards until mid-March. We understand the impact that this has on you as a candidate. Please see the timeline and information below that will make this process as fair, equitable, and efficient as possible:
- February 15: Priority Application Deadline
- If you complete your general application requirements by 2/15, you will be considered in our first round of decisions.
- March 1: We are extending our priority deadline for faculty interviews and skill tests only to this date.
- March 15–31: First-round decision letters by email beginning March 15, including acceptance, waitlist, and denial.
- April 1–15: Enrollment Agreements, which are the signed contracts between the student and NBSS, and any Financial Aid Awards will be sent with a request to make a commitment within five business days.
We are in the process of contacting all applicants with requests for any missing items to complete requirements. We will keep you informed of any further delays from the Department of Education that may impact financial aid, or a need to modify the timeline outlined.
Beyond the priority deadline, we consider all applications on a rolling admissions basis. Thank you for your patience and understanding, and please let me know if you have any concerns.
Regards,
