Hi friend,

It's been great working with you on your path to career training at NBSS, and we're excited to welcome you this spring. Over the new few weeks, you'll be getting communications from various people here at NBSS, including your Faculty, Student Support & Career Services, our Store manager, and the Provost. 

There are a few items you need to take care of before your first day. Our New Student Welcome page provides a full overview, including everything from important dates to completing a student info form, Portal access, and more. Reviewing that page may answer some questions you have in advance of your arrival.

New Student Events

• New Student Orientation and your first day of training will be held in-person at NBSS on Tuesday, January 20 at 8:00 am.
  • 8:00 am – Welcome and continental breakfast
  • 8:30 am – Orientation
  • 9:00 am – Building Tours
  • 10:00 am – Program Orientations with Faculty
  • 12:30 pm – Neighborhood Tours with Locksmithing & Security Technology
  • 3:00 pm – Neighborhood Tours with Jewelry Making & Repair and Cabinet & Furniture Making

• Normal Program Hours, after Orientation day:
  • 8:00 am – 3:00 pm, Cabinet & Furniture Making
  • 8:00 am – 3:00 pm, Jewelry Making & Repair
  • 7:30 am – 12:30 pm, Locksmithing & Security Technology

If you would like to visit the school before the start, please schedule a time with Rob in advance. Note that we are closed for Winter Break from December 22 - January 4.
