Hi friend,

It's been great working with you on your path to career training at NBSS, and we're excited to welcome you this fall. Over the spring and summer, you'll be getting communications from various people here at NBSS, including your Faculty, Student Support & Career Services, our Store manager, and the Provost. 

There are a few items you need to take care of before your first day. Our New Student Welcome page provides a full overview, including everything from important dates to completing a student info form, T pass ordering, Portal access, and more. Reviewing that page may answer some questions you have in advance of your arrival.

There are several new student events that offer the opportunity to meet NBSS staff, faculty, and your fellow students, and get familiar with the School.

• Virtual Check-Ins: Ask questions and meet fellow students at these optional events. RSVP here.
  • Monday, June 2, 12:00 noon-1:00 pm ET
  • Monday, June 30, 12:00 noon-1:00 pm ET
  • Monday, August 4, 12:00 noon-1:00 pm ET
• New Student Orientation, Tuesday, September 2 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
  A required in-person event that takes place at our School facility, 150 North Street, Boston, MA 02109.
  • Local tours: We are offering optional guided, small group tours of our building and of the North End neighborhood before Orientation from 9:00-11:00 am.
• Official first day: Your first day of training on Wednesday, September 3 will begin at your program's normal hours.

If you have not already, please fill out the Student Incoming Information form so we can prepare for your arrival.

And, if you’re planning to be in Boston this summer and would like to visit the School, please schedule a visit with me in advance.
