We hope you're enjoying a good end to your year and holiday season. We've enjoyed working with you through the admissions process and are excited to welcome you to NBSS.

There are a few items to take care of before your first day. Our New Student Welcome page has detailed instructions, including important dates and completing the incoming student info form, which you should complete as soon as possible.

New Student Events

• We'll hold a Virtual Check In for New Students on Tuesday, January 14 from 12:00 - 1:00 pm for any who would like to attend. Join the Zoom event at that time here.
  
  
• New Student Orientation will be held in-person at NBSS on Tuesday, January 21 at 8:00 am.
  • 8:00 am – Welcome and continental breakfast
  • 8:30 am – Orientation
  • 9:00 am – Building Tours
  • 10:00 am – Program Orientations with Faculty
  • 12:30 pm – Neighborhood Tours with Locksmithing & Security Technology
  • 3:00 pm – Neighborhood Tours with Jewelry Making & Repair and Cabinet & Furniture Making

• Normal Program Hours, after Orientation day:
  • 8:00 am – 3:00 pm, Cabinet & Furniture Making
  • 8:00 am – 3:00 pm, Jewelry Making & Repair
  • 7:30 am – 12:30 pm, Locksmithing & Security Technology
